Lizzie's Birthday Party and Other OKC Pics

Well, it seems like we just got back from OKC, but really we have been back since Sunday. We had a great time, but the week went way faster than we could have imagined. We got to do a lot of fun things, eat a lot of yummy food and go on a date, but the highlight of the week was definitely Lizzie's Birthday party. We barbequed with our OKC friends and family in Matt's parents' backyard. After a week of wind, thunderstorms and rain, we had a gorgeous day to celebrate and hang out. She wasn't officially two until today, but it was great to celebrate outdoors and be with loved ones.
She is definitely in the terrible twos...we have to do a lot of time outs these days! She is also a lot more verbal and understands many things. She really is turning into a little girl.

Proud parents

One to destroy, one to eat

She did NOT like the frosting all over her!

She is discovering/playing with her shadow.

Our OKC friends...not sure when we will all be together again. :(

Wahoo and Ruby...I love his face in this pic! Lay off me, I'm starving!

Somebody has a girlfriend!

This picture scares me.

Lizzie is making her mean face.

Lizzie is laughing because her cousin is crying...I am telling you, she is scary.

First, congrats.

Second, when I saw the first picture of BJ I thought "God, he tried to kill himself! Either that or someone left a closed pocket knife in a pillow again!"

Third, I didn't get the memo that it's time to wear khaki cargo shorts.

David,

It's always time to wear khaki cargo shorts. Those things are always cool.

Also, I still have nightmares about pillows loaded with shrapnel. Can we not discuss that?
